
Living in Australia it’s difficult to travel overseas, as most of the world is at least ten hours away, across hemispheres and datelines. Because of this I often give video talks/chats about my work. …. Here at Griffith University we have a blue screen room which I use to record descriptions of my work, ‘thank you’s’ for an award, or responses to questions from university classes. And while it’s been observed that my talks are sometimes irreverent and strange, I prefer to see them as part performance, part lecture and part exploration. And as any good teacher will tell you, that is a lovely mix.
